School Visits to iSPACE
Visits to iSPACE are a great way to get students excited about STEM |
|
|
|
Used as an introduction to new concepts or as a culmination of a unit, iSPACE programs provide hands-on/minds-on, inquiry-based learning opportunities to engage students in discovering and exploring the universe around them. iSPACE programs address national and state education standards (Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana).

Educators
Teaching science is not rocket science |
|
|
|
Oh wait! It actually can be if you are participating in an iSPACE rocketry workshop!
Let iSPACE lead you on a journey to discover not only the joys of teaching rocket science, but the joys of teaching any topic in science! iSPACE can empower educators by building confidence for teaching STEM topics through workshops and resources that will aid in the development and implementation of engaging lessons and dynamic learning experiences for students.
iSPACE also knows that while the use of "hands-on, minds-on" inquiry learning can significantly increase the degree to which students become active learners in the classroom, it is also a necessity that these inquiry activities address specific national and state content standards.
Join iSPACE for an educator workshop or one of our special iTEACH meetings.
After all, teaching science doesn't have to be rocket science, but it should be a blast!

Preschool Programs
Young children are naturally curious... |

PipSqueak Science (For 4-5 year olds with an adult partner) A child does not have to be taught to explore the world around them. However, young children do need guidance and encouragement in learning how to think and act as scientists do. iSPACE offers such encouragement and guidance through programs designed specifically for "pint-sized" scientists and engineers. While young participants may be developing important scientific skills such as observing, classifying, formulating hypotheses, the kids will tell you they are just having fun!
Schools, homeschool groups and individual adult/child participants will enjoy programs that incorporate math, literature, music, sensory integration, and creative arts within science driven content.
$15 per adult/child pair ($5 for each additional child - ages 4-5 only.) Call 513-612-5786 to register NOTE: Science is always fun and sometimes a bit messy! Please dress your child (and yourself) appropriately. **Also offered as an on-site program for Preschool Classes (4-5 year olds) Call for scheduling and pricing. Please check back for programs after our summer camp season!
