10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

iSPACE is located on the Scarlet Oaks Campus
3254 E. Kemper Road
Sharonville, OH 45241

If you’ve ever wanted to fly a blimp, program a robot, launch a rocket or touch a real meteorite, you won’t want to miss iSPACE’s annual free Space Day – Saturday, May 1 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at iSPACE located at Scarlet Oaks (3254 E. Kemper Road in Sharonville). There’s no other local event like it, and it’s all about getting students excited about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Hands on activities will have kids and kids at heart experimenting, watching, touching, and creating. They’ll be able to try on an astronaut space suit, ride a hovercraft, see NASA memorabilia, watch demonstrations on how liquid nitrogen can freeze a flower before their eyes, send pop rockets soaring skyward, try your hand at flying and landing an airplane with realistic simulators and more. Students can learn what it takes to be part of a FIRST LEGO® League, Junior FIRST LEGO® or FIRST Tech Challenge team by programming and driving a robot, talking to award winning team members and perhaps finding other students interested in forming a team with them. Be sure to arrive early to get your ticket to one of the inflatable planetarium shows.  Tickets are free, but space/availability is limited.
