iTEACH

Let iSPACE lead you on a journey to discover not only the joys of teaching rocket science, but the joys of teaching any topic in science! iSPACE can empower educators by building confidence for teaching STEM topics through workshops and resources that will aid in the development and implementation of engaging lessons and dynamic learning experiences for students.

iSPACE also knows that while the use of "hands-on, minds-on" inquiry learning can significantly increase the degree to which students become active learners in the classroom, it is also a necessity that these inquiry activities address specific national and state content standards.

Join iSPACE for an educator workshop or special iTEACH meetings. After all, teaching science doesn't have to be rocket science, but it should be a blast!

iTEACH is an educator resource program from iSPACE.  SPACE is committed to supporting educators in our community, and ultimately their students.

Sign up for our May iTEACH Workshop - "There's More to Light Than Meets the Eye"

September 15, 2010
6:30 - 8:30 PM

$20

Join in on the fun as we shed new light on teaching the science of light.  Discover the critical role light plays in the exploration of space, investigate properties of light and the electromagnetic spectrum, see and hear light beyond the visible spectrum (UV and IR), make and take a spectroscope, explore with filters and more. You will take home several ideas for inexpensive ways to engage your students in light explorations.

Call Bev at 513-612-5769 to register for this workshop.
